anybody familiar with getting the gears in the trans "back cut"? i will be pulling my trans apart and replacing the gears/forks that i damaged in the next to weeks. i was woundering what you guys thought about getting the new gears back cut. its a 02 gsx-r1000

If your going to do it in two weeks, best find someone who will do an exchange because it usually takes 4-6 weeks to have it done. MH might have one for ya. I Like Robinson, he also makes the low first and also OD 5th and 6th.

mitch, backcutting means angling the dog teeth on trans gears at an angle that keeps the two engaged gears locked together under load. a good thing for racing and busas.
