Hmmm...
« on: November 11, 2004, 06:39:17 PM »
So what happens to the highspeed board during the off season?

No armchair racing or promises to whip up on someone with their imaginary lightspeed Busa? I was kinda hoping to get a few of the boys out for some fun on the Texas backroads in the next couple of weeks. Any takers? Any of the rest of y'all up for some armchair racing? How about some predictions or even wagers about next season?

Just kinda stirring the pot, in a friendly kinda way.

UT

With help everything is easier, as long as "it" means the same to you.

I wish you luck and goodwill...

Hey 3B, if you go to Bonneville, I'd be happy to help in any way I can. Of course because I'm usually there helping Hank.

Any help I get(and I have gotten plenty from John) I appreciate and try to repay as I can.Any help I give is with no strings attached except to be treated with respect and honesty.I am a big believer in Karma, and after my goals are achieved,my continuing participation in racing will be helping others and trying different products and posting my results with them. The people I have met and the friends I have made(and I put John right there at the top)will always mean more than anything I ever do racing.

After spending a few weeks catching up on Homework   and fixing my Ragged Van and Car, I will resolve the expirements I started too late to finish and have that Piece of Trash Zx12 running like I know it can and get it up to 220 even if it is Randall riding it. All I want is over 210 for myself   The good news is, I do not have to buy many parts because except for a few gaskets and the like, it is mostly just changing and swapping things. I now have until next April to get this done and save up the $150 needed for membership and entry fee! :D:D

Yes for ride. Hopefully no on the rain.

I did notice that Austin PD was doing courtesy high speed testing.
They have a stand alone self-service machine on the side of the road to provide radar readings on SW Parkway. I was very upset as they didn't seem to have the ability to read triple digits. As I went by at about 120 the readout was flashing double zeros. In my saddened state I kept on going, though I did notice an officer in a patrol car trying to catch up to offer his apologies. It seemed he was a bit too slow, but I appreciated the effort.
