Looks almost new anyway,Honda CRF 450R and got it for $2600 and will be delivered to my door Friday morning.I haven't been on a dirt bike in 40 years and they say this one is a beast so I'll probably fuck myself up in short order. :uploaded_shooting: :uploaded_shooting: :uploaded_shooting:

Now you just need something like this ~ to haul it around, or register it for the street . . .

I kind of doubt he could handle all three of them, but I'm sure he'd have fun trying! :uploaded_shooting:
-
I bought a new one in 2003 and put a pipe on it..............it was waaaaaaaay too fast. I got hurt on it - busted collarbone............ended up selling it.
-
Supposedly puts out around 55 hp and only weighs around 230 lbs.,first time I ever owned a motorsickle that weighs less than I do.
Ordering a hitch and one of those racks for the Jeep this weekend. :punk:

You've to much play money... :lachen008: Don't enter the X Games and be trying to do all that wild shit...Be safe bro...
-
If I had your money bro I'd throw mine away(took me a whole year to rat hole about $4 G's). :crackup:Definitely gonna take it easy for a day or two, then it's game on.
-
Have fun mate ! :fiddy: :punk:
-
Took it for a spin around the neighborhood and first impression...terrifying! Felt like I was 6' in the air, sittin' on a bicycle with a 2x4 for a seat and a peppy motor...could be considered a deathtrap. :crackup:Definitely a learning curve and will take some getting used to,I feel way safer on the Busa doing a 180 mph down the freeway than on this damned thing('course I was in house slippers, pajama bottoms, sleeveless T-shirt and no helmet, bet I was a sight ). :uploaded_shooting:
-
You should drive it to Wal mart
-
I would've fit right in John Boy! :hys: :thumb: :uploaded_shooting: :uploaded_shooting: :uploaded_shooting:
-
Those are fun as hell, don't get hurt old man!
-
I hear ya bro, feels like it could turn me about every which way but loose if I'm not careful. :hys:
-
Bud you are safer at 180 on the Busa,... than on that thing........do you not know yet that we old farts hurt more when we get fucked up and take 3 times longer to heal, and sometime don't heal at all....as long as you don't get hurt right away, after a few hours riding in the dirt beating the snot out of yourself, that beast will probably get parked.....if your not sure of what I'm saying, go hammer it over a few jumps then tell me how you feel the next morning
-
You got that right bro,for a little 55 hp engine/228 lb. bike that sonofabitch is a little twitchy on asphalt, gonna wait 'til I get in the dirt before I hammer it...probably won't hurt as bad when I get tossed off. :hys:
-
Your "nut's" are going to hate you... :pw: :pw:
-
I don't doubt that bro! :hys:

We had a new RM85 at the dealership years ago. Nobody thought much of it, and every single guy I worked with and one I didn't wrecked that bike!
I sold it and it came back a week later running too rich. Customer mixed it too heavy with oil. I deluded it with some fresh gas and took it out for a ride around the lot .
Yep you guessed it, I wrecked it! Flipped it over backwards! Ground stones into my ass! I had to be in a wedding that afternoon. So I stood up there in front of church with tiny pebbles in my ass cheeks!
Those damn things are so vicious because it's easy to get away from ya. They seem so small and safe and they fool ya. They can throw you off like a dog throws off a tick!
Anyway they are fun as hell just be careful buddy!

Went up to Chaparral Motorsports in San Bernardino this morning and dropped $800 on boots, helmet, pants, goggles, oil and filters, etc.(that place is humongous, about the size of a Walmart but all bikes and gear,etc.).Just ordered a class III hitch and bike rack for the Jeep so I can haul it around(first stop is Race Tech for new springs, fork seals, and the suspension set up for my fat ass ).Damned hot out here this week,85 degrees today.
-
On second thought Bud screw the naysayers, we don't fucking live forever, have a blast with your new toy, just try not to get fucked up to bad, as I see at work everyday, the kids coming up through the ranks will never replace us
-
That's the way I've always seen it too bro, nobody gets out alive. :uploaded_shooting:
Found a pretty good website dealing with dirt bikes called Thumper Talk:

And I got to say in all honesty O would not mind taking one out for a rip, but I don't cause I know its going to hurt after,.............got a bud at work that got one of those super motards, (dirt bike with street tires) that's cool but right now it would just be another toy to spend money on that I ain't got, .............at least I got the beast ready for summer, new plugs, tires, wheel bearings, rebuilt the calipers, new brakes, was going to take it up the interstate where the LEOs set up one of those auto speed checker wagons but it's a old one and only has two digits,(99 mph) so I didn't bother, no matter since I got that new fuel system right its been running great, feels better than when it got on the dyno, don't know when I'd get to a dyno now as the guy who's stuff I used retired, he was older than us, and sold his equipment, .................you just make sure you keep the shiny side UP....... :D
-
Took it out for about a 1/2 hour this morning and got a little more ballsy, gonna wait 'til I get the suspension dialed in,etc. and take it to a dirt track in Elsinore before I hammer it. :lol:It's only about 10 miles from the house and can ride all day for $30,be a good place to get some practice in.
http://www.racele.com/
Think I'm gonna blow off Race Tech and take it to Precision Concepts in Riverside(about 25 miles from the house)for the suspension and just have them go over it from end to end(tune, etc.),have heard they're pretty good with dirt bikes.

Hey what's with these kids these days? I thought it was just me, but stupid isn't even good enough to describe them. I find so few that are worth my breath on any subject.
Can't fix, don't want to fix, and don't even want to learn!
When we're gone it's going to be a disaster

Couple of pics of my new toy, thing feels like a bicycle on steroids. :crackup:Fooled around with it yesterday and changed engine oil and filter, trans. fluid, new Uni air filter, lubed chain, etc.(way easier than on the Busa ).Still need to throw a new plug in it and take it into a shop for a valve check, suspension overhaul(springs, fork seals, etc.),new tires, and just a general going over.Thing is a hoot to ride. :rockwoot:

Don't shoot yer eye out! :Axe_anim:

Thanks John Boy.This little bike fascinates the shit out of me for some reason(probably because I've only owned Busas for the last 15 years),gets more attention than the Busa now.
-
Looks good to go...Be careful on it... :tu:

Thanks bro,and I'm gonna be takin' baby steps on it for a while.

That Super Duke I bought, is like a giant super motard!
It feels twitchy light, effortless to ride, and absorbs the road making all roads feel like new pavement!
Absolutely the most fun bike I've ever rode!
It's no Busa, but it's worth the money !! Go Check one out Dave
-
:fiddy: are your nuts hating you yet... :LolLolLolLol:

Nope, but my right leg is. :lol:Took it to Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park yesterday and made a few laps around one of the tracks(they have 5 there),killed it and restarted on the first kick.Tried it on a different course and killed it on the 2nd lap(had just watered/graded the surface and got caught up in some big clods in a tight turn),kicked it about a 100 times and ended up pushing it about a 1/4 mile back to the Jeep(thought I was gonna stroke out bro,a lot of work when you're 63/250 lbs.,wearing those big ass heavy boots[caked in mud],and already worn out from those fucking 100 kicks ).Gonna pull/change the spark plug out today, may as well start there.Usually when it's cold it'll start within 1-6 kicks and when hot have restarted it on 1 kick using the "hot start" lever next to the clutch lever, but not so yesterday(thinking I flooded it,which they say is pretty easy).I would've killed for an electric start yesterday bro, like the guy parked next to me had on his new KTM 450. :punk: :uploaded_shooting: :uploaded_shooting: :uploaded_shooting: :uploaded_shooting: :uploaded_shooting: :uploaded_shooting: :uploaded_shooting:

...and to add insult to injury, after I loaded that bitch up realized I had forgotten to close the damned tailgate so had to unload the bastard again.Ridin' the Busa is way easier.
