What are the "Recommended by the Suzuki-Hayabusa.Org" tire pressures on these Bridgestone BT015s. The book sez 42/42. I can hardly agree with
that. I have 'em at 38/38 as of today. What do you guys say for the street? Thanks in advance.

I'd say 36-38 would be perfect for cruising(that's what I run ),psi will probably increase as the day and tires heat up so 36-38 psi cold would be about the maximum I'd run.Have 5,200 miles on my Michelin Power Supersports(which is pretty damned good)by keeping them around 36-37 psi cold),the rear is just now down to the wear bars.I'm guessing that 42 psi is the maximum,if you're gonna be hauling some fat chick around .Got some new Power Supersports sitting here to get put on when I get around to it(200/55 for the rear).

Nice tires. :thumb: Wish I had 'em instead of these stock Bridgestones, but I paid for 'em.........I guess I will ride 'em for now.
-
Definitely more tire than I need for the mostly freeway ridin' I do(and about $500 a pair mounted and balanced),I just like the look of the tread pattern.
-
You need to have a tire gauge with you ~ and adjust the pressure to your type of riding . . .
. . . . :bah:

Not likely Red,you ain't gonna see me droppin' tire pressures just to try to take every 50 mph curve at 80 mph and eventually skinnin' myself and my bike all to shit for nothin',think too much of myself and my bike(I'll just watch the pros tomorrow on Moto GP).

I second that statement. :thumb: But I do take the 50 mph turns at 65...... :hys:

You are not old.............you are not even able to collect Social Security yet. Ya gotta be 62 youngster. I am not old, I am just a few years ahead of
you and able to collect Social Security/Railroad Retirement, which is not that much, but it does pay the bills. You must have a real job. I do not envy you,
I like being retired at this juncture.........now that I can ride. :bike:

Yeah,I'm pretty much screwed, will have to wait another 4 years to draw the max. and will still be less than a $1,000 per month(with no pension, unless I can get something out of the union job I had for 5 years back from '77-'81).Thought I'd start drawing at 62(next month)to supplement my income but found out the sonofabitches would withhold $1 from every $2 or $3 out of it for anything I made over $15,000 per year so would end up with nothing.May have to get out the pistol and the ski mask. :lol:I guess it ain't all bad,$1,000 a month would keep me in a new refrigerator box under a bridge somewhere.

My Social Security doesnt pay me enough to live on but it does give me enough to go racing. :vl:
