I waited a full year before I posted this. After my crash, I had to sell off all of my parts to try and pay off the totalled bike, credit card, and a loan for the turbo. He wanted some of the parts, so I made him a sweet deal for $900 worth total. I packed the stuff and sent it to him immediately. Remember, I trusted him completely, as he was the one who went out of his way to bring what was left of my bike home while I was in the hospital.
He paid around half up front, and because it was him, I told him he could have another 4 months to pay the rest. That would have been March 1, 2007. A few months ago he sent me $100. Very cool. Back in August, I tried to get in touch with him to mainly touch base, and maybe hint that he pay me the remaining debt. He will not respond to my phone messages, PM's, or emails. I would never have expected him to rip me off, of all people. I've just written it off to experience. Don't trust this guy.
As for the name "Jornic Motorsports"- He's just a guy like me with one bike. He put together a web site to look like he's big time. His bike has never been close to 200 mph. He has alot of sponsors, and I've heard grumbling from them over the years that he's never given them any "return on investment". Some people are just flaky and have no conscience I guess. I'm not one of those people.

im not here to swing on anoyones nuts,BUT,i have had nothing but GREAT deals with bryan/jornic motorsports...he has sent me parts,without me paying him(which i did) and he has bought a fair chunk of moneyworth of billet parts from me also...
in no way am i saying your lying rustman,im just sticking up for him,as i know him..
im sure he will post here,i know he was/is busy moving cross country,maybe that has something to do with it...

No worries Mike. I had the same experience with him. I trusted him completely, that's why I'm do distressed at this point. A year is too long, and not responding is only excuseable for so long. I'm busy too, but I can respond withing a month to anyone, no matter what. I lost what I considered a good trusted friend here, so I'm as shocked as anyone that it came to this. I've been patient, but he's not showing me enough respect to even respond. There's just no excuse for that. I wouldn't do that to anyone. If Osama Bin Laden shipped me parts, I'd pay him immediately. It's a matter of principal. :thumb:

and for those who dont know, I was the one who packed up racing a half day early, packed up russ' stuff drove 500 miles out of my way to deliver this and your equipment after your spill. no one else was gonna do it. your life was more important to me than racing.

I'm very dissappointed in reading how this was handle Bryan.. especially since I just put your decals on my bike and have mentioned you being a sponsor for donating the preload adjusters to me... this reflects back on me also since I have spoken well of you ...
and to be fare.. yes there were some things Rust said that could have been left out, but by far his posting was a play by play of the transaction as it occured and apparently posting that out in the open is what it took for him to get your attention to get what he's owed.. I surely hope you do follow through with this Bryan..

spoke up for him so I never posted anything bad here. After reading this I wish I would have.

Thank you sir. When it clears, I'll delete all reference to this issue. I'm not spiteful, and I don't hit below the belt (think about that for a minute). I don't want to hurt you any more than I have to, but this was the only thing that worked.
I know you're a good man at heart. It's truly a shame that it came to this.

Well, his reply was on october 15th when he promised to send me a check. Later, he said that he had the wrong zip code in his blackberry. Wow, that blackberry won't let him deal with me. Today is October 27th, and there's still no sign of the check after checking my mailbox today. I'll be most certain to post up here if it does or does not show up.

At this point, I'm pretty sure he's going to rip me off. Plenty of time has passed and no check has arrived. I'll just ping this to the top of the list for a while and then forget about it. Caveat Emptor. 8)

i'm new to this issue, but it seems to me you should really have a gripe with his blackberry. its really your enemy in this situation

Don't make me lock the thread. 160 miles to my house. A deal is a deal. I'd have done the same for him had he crashed. I'd have sold the parts to someone else had I known I wouldn't get paid. You need to get a clue. I'm not the bad guy here. You must be a crony of his. Go back to the lab and shut up.

Here's a little background info for you:
I didn't force him to buy my parts. I made it clear that I was selling everything that I would have liked to keep so I could pay my debts and try and get another bike. I made it clear that he could have all the way out until March 1, 2007. That was when I planned to be out of debt and buy another bike. He offered to buy my stuff. I was posting everything up in for sale, and I sold everything I had. I made him a fair deal, and threw in a part or two. I made it a point to go out of my way to praise him for delivering my bike. I also made it clear that I needed to sell the parts for just this purpose. I NEEDED to sell the parts. I NEEDED money to race this month, so I started trying to get him to contact me back in August. I'd touched base a few months before as well. He would not contact me back. Blackberry my ass. He was posting on psychobike and the lab but he couldn't return a PM or email? Bullshit.
He could have called me back and asked me to forgive the debt FOR ANY REASON and I would have done so with no hard feelings. I'm not kidding. Why am I defending myself to you?
I'd like to have the parts I sold him for backups. I'd never have sold any of it if I did not have to: Gold forks (8 out of 10), LM-1, Aux box, XD-16, 220 gauges with indiglo, yellowbox (gift from me).

Looks like he's not going to pay afterall. This isn't the first time he's told me that he would send a check and never did. I overestimated him and his integrity.

I had intended to delete this thread when I got a check and it had cleared. Since that doesn't appear to be happening (even after yet another promise to pay), I'm going to leave this up. My objective was not to crush his rep completely, but only to try and force a response. I've given him a chance to save face, but I believe that time has passed. I'm done trying to collect my money I suppose. I will not be a pushover in the future. I've been too trusting, and that doesn't fly in todays' world.
Glad you're a brother like everyone else here, Bryan. You should be very proud of yourself. Keep it up. You're making friends all over the place.

I e-talked with Amber who was his pilot doing her best to be the fastest woman alive. Apparently he's ignoring her too. I don't think he owes her any cash though. She was kinda under the impression that she might get to make some more passes when and if he gets his bike running right to meet her goal. It's a shame that she didn't even get a good explanation.
Naturally, he stiffed me. The money isn't coming or it would have been here weeks ago.

Yeah, after telling me he wanted to buy some stuff. I told him that I needed to sell all of my stuff to get out of debt. I said that I couldn't just give it away, but I'd make him the best deal that I could, and I did. He's just mad that I had to take this public after a few months of him ignoring me. He paid dearly by losing any positive reputation that he might have had. I'd much rather have done it the other way- He could have contacted me back any number of times and I would have gone with whatever he said he needed to eventually pay. I'll say it again- I would have even forgiven the debt if he had asked me to. That would not be right, but I try to go the extra mile for friends if I can. Not showing me enough respect (and I don't command any more than this) to return my calls and messages over a period of months pretty much used up what good samaritan that I had left in me. A guy loses everything that is related to racing and gets to go to surgery as the icing on the cake would get anything that I owed him promptly. Try sending me a PM, email, or leaving a voice mail- I will respond, even if I don't know you or anything about you.

He helps Russ out when he almost died....then uses this as a reason not to pay him....the worst kind of scum...acts like there all kind and being a good person when he probably had this all planned out...probably was scoping out parts he knew he would get for helping Russ as the paramedics scraped him off the concrete...

A relative unknown rider/builder solicits a bunch of free and discounted parts to build a bike thats is going to do great things.
When the bike doesn't come out after all of the hype the bike is suddenly going to be the ride for the first lady over 200.
That never happened and many other women riders beat BBB to the mark.
The bike and owner fade into the background and leave a bunch of people with empty promises.
This kind of stuff that really hurts the sport and makes it very difficult for riders looking for support in the future.
Bryan's intentions may have have been good at the start but once the reality set in that he couldn't live up to the internet hype it hurt his credibility.
Real racers run the number and let their riding do the talking.
Internet racers win internet races!!
