Title: timing
Post by: turbobusa65 on May 02, 2008, 06:59:50 AM
Is the evac keeping the timing retarded? the b-king seems slow to accelerate, kind of lazy compared to the busa. Do I need the power commander ignition module? Or can I do somthing to advance the timing and lock it down? The evac is still there but I had to keep moving it with with 12 volt power till I got it down right under 1 volt to keep it from popping the c-46 code. Any help would be great thank you.

C46 mean exhaust actuator wrong,,you take off your valve ?  i have the same thing on mine since i remove the set valve

Common to remove the set valve on the GSXR's ,06-07 ecu looks the same as the BK and they remove a pin at the ecu or cut a wire to stop the set valve fault codes , (i would remove the pin in case the BK uses a different pin   :o)

Try pming Rob Kelly
he would be up to date on what the pin 30 does on the gsxr's,
cutting the wire connected to the excv would do nothing if your going to remove it anyway,
Mario did you cut no 30 or another ?

I cut the B/Br 1 inch before the conector,, like the picture show,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i disconect the servo motor unplug the cable and remove the set valve
I dont know about the number,,,i read alot of post(gixxer.com) about that mods and alot of people use to say cut the black/brown stip and green ring
in my case this color looks the good one

Yep looks like the one that works on the gixxers.
have to get a gixxer wiring diagram and compare.or for now leave the motor connected and just remove the cables.
Wonder what Steve P did on the turbo BK
