I asume you need a TRE on the 08 also...question is does the gen 1 TRE work or even plug into the 08...

yes depends on what one you have a standard will just see gear 5 in ther indicater all the time. Mod your gps thats the best way to do it  :thumb: get ahold of smith busa

Several guys, including me put the 08 TRE on and our rev limiters kicked in 500 rpss early. I know for sure cause I was doing dyno runs before and after.........I'm not using a TRE for my bike........

Get the modified GPS deal from Schnitz. It retains the digital gear shifter but you do have to remove the clutch to get it on. But its not that bad to do assuming you have the wrench. Read my write up on dragbike.com on how to do it.

Just a FYI Smith Busa ods them for schnitz   :thumb:

Just saw this, sorry guys, yep I can get a sensor and mod it, send me yours and i can mod it, or schnitz usually has them in stock, just sent them 30 today (10 of them being for 08 busa).

ya...schnitz is a pain in the ass to deal with when sending stuff to canada...they are protecting there ass I guess...
