Are you going to try and keep it street legal?
it is street legal now and will stay that way....this is her street bike also....the exhaust is a little loud though, but has a very nice sound....

Why did ya go with the PC vs the Bazzaz box if your racing it? You know the PC only allows 28% duty cycle of the injectors right? The Bazzaz controls all 8 injectors!

Dont know about up there but .. hard to find somebody that knows what they are doing with the bazzaz in my area. .. ? justy a thought.
-
Most people dont need to richen the lower RPMs so far. The Bazzaz box is pretty sweet if you take advantage of all the add ons but the increase in price drives people away.
-
If I showed you my Dyno sheet....it needed at least 20% more fuel at 3200 rpm then the "base" map. The price increases are a little for the amount of gain in "things" it will do. In terms of software...it's almost the same exact as the PC...I've had both..and both are VERY easy to use!!

Looking at it now...it was 15.5/1 A/F and was actually in the 14 range before mapping throughout the entire range until tuned. Once tuned it picked up 2hp and 2/torque throughout the range

There is a bike in those pics?/congrats

Cool!

Mike
the power commander is a sponsored piece from dyno jet...hard to beat that price....and service...
-
I agree...but with such less performance....then what the other offers. More so if your going to race the bike with all the extras...
Mike
-
it is going to be raced the way it is now....
-
looks good J & K, did you happen to weigh the stock exhaust?
-
I just sold my K7 to pick up an 08 busa. Probably picking it up tomorrow. Two of my friends ahev the exact mods you have going. Running 9.2's around 151 the other is running 154 with decent launches. 1.50 60's Both new to the drag racing game though. These bikes are amazing in every aspect. I love love love that blue.
-
Looking good.
-
the bike is nice but seems to be harder on gas and not as comfy as the old one..????
-
I agree 100% on both things you said. The gas more so the riding postion has changed considerably IMO also. The egros are way more aggressive then my 2000 but...we do have to factor in more HP requires more gas!!

Dude. Not to sound disrespectful at all, but I did not notice a bike in the first pic. The headlights were too bright.
Great, that's my first post.

then why say it... u know it is.

Lookin' good, guys. Beautiful bike and the mods look great. Not to mention the model!
I agree with you Jody, nothing beats "free" on the price, and support is the most important (see "Richard at RCC" and "DaveO", etc,) but in all fairness, I have been hearing great things about the Bazazz also.
Good luck. I have a feeing this could be a second career for you.

I ran at a 1/8 mile track this past weekend. Made it to the semi finals, but broke out with a 6.23. I hate bracket racing, but thats all we have around here.
Ran 6.5's all day Saturday and 6.3's on Sunday. We will post some pics as soon as I get them. Trilly

ended up 3rd out of 48 entries...not bad for first race out...the last one was rained out....thanks Brock, Richard , Dyno jet, Suzuki and North Bay Cycle....
