Just replaced my tires at 7100 miles. This was my second back tire 3200 on the first and 3900 on the second.
Maybe 500 left on the front.
So I wanted a change to get more miles outta a set of tires.
I will let you guys know what I think.
After a 5 mile scrub in test drive the tires more round profile makes for real smooth roll on an off the curves.

I push my bike through corners to hard for the pilot road,I run the pilot power 2CT,I can't see running tire geared for touring on a hypersport bike like the busa,unless I was taking my busa on a cross country trip.I never worry about how many miles I get out of my tires,I want a soft sticky tire and when it's worn it gets changed,what ever the milage may be,to each there own though.

Well we will see.
I push my Busa hard on the weekend as well however I live in Florida where the roads are ALWAYS over 100 deg and 90% are flat and strait.
I am burning the centers out of BT015's in 3k rear and 6-7k front.
Also I put about 1- 2k a month on my bike so it adds up quick.
We will see how they work ... So far I am happy

The heat in FL. definitely burns your tires up,I rode from miami into key west then over to naples then back to miami and it wore my tires really quick,it was a fun trip but compared to the roads up here in CT,VT and Maine it was uneventful,we have killer roads up here.I was bored riding in Florida,you don't know what a twisty road is living down there,no offence.I need a tire that heats up quick in CT as we don't have the heat you have except in the summer.

Yea my point exactly .. We have pavement temps over 100 all days but .... ummm jan 25th :wink:
I Live in central florida we have much better roads than they do down south but still nothing like the back roads around Montpelier or Stowe.. hehe
But i can play with my other toy in January down here in Florida.......

Update .... I HATE THESE TIRES
Bike is a pig in the corners now .. Have to push it in ..
I am going to sell these used and try something else... Maybe BT016 ??

I've got the Metzeler M3's, 120/70 on the front, and the E rated 190/55 on the rear. I'm keeping 38 psi in both front and rear, and they are working great, they stick really well even before they were broke in they did well. the taller Tire makes it turn in a little quicker, but its hard to tell how much was from the tire, and how much was from my new exhaust, since i did both at the same time. most of the time its around 80 degrees here, I live in MN, so what works great for me might not for someone else.

Try some Avon Storms. Great mileage and they stick enough to drag knee. Arizona has some hot road temps too :) Loving these tires. I think they are the rounded profile too. I am 6'5" and 275 so I have no problem muscling the bike around.

I put a PP2ct on the front and left the road2 on the rear and the bike is back to handling the way it should
