I had a speedbleeder break off in the caliper when installing stainless lines, so I have to buy a pair of new calipers for the front. :cry:
Trying to convince my old man to go and even make a few passes on my bike. I really wish I had a 600 or atleast a selectable map like the Gixxers - its been 23 years since hes raced bikes so needless to say 200hp may be a bit much. :bah:

Went to the local 1/8th mile track tonight knowing it would be my last chance to practice. :lol:
Gained a tenth and a solid 1.5mph. 7.44 @109.1mph with a 2.083 short time. :lol: Terrible by all means but not too bad considering I've only had the bike for less than 3 months. :thumb:
Figured out I wasn't (still not) going WOT fast enough. Kept trying to work on it but it would power wheelie once the clutch was out. My last pass it power wheelied at 500 foot or so and it would not have stopped if I didn't let out, upshift, or tap the rear brake. Thankfully I let out. :lol:

Who can help me setup my suspension on the bike? I looked at it a bit today and the rear seems extremely stiff, even with all my weight on it. I have NO idea how to do anything with a bike suspension as far as dialing it in goes. :thumb:

I want to bring my 600 but I dont have a kill switch. Does anyone know if they will let me get by with drilling a hole in the on/off switch?I know most tracks dont anymore. I really dont want to buy one cause I already know its slow but still might be fun to bring it

Can't wait to try out the new gann clutch set-up and another little secret in the old bag of tricks. If i can get the clutch right should have no problem going 1;25 60's. But we will see how everything works together.

Add 400rpm to your launch stall and that bike will do it with the new gearing and the decent temps. :thumb:

My lowering links arrived today and I installed them. It would bottom out on the lowest setting, so I raised it up one hole, but its still a good 2-2.5" lower than stock. I also strapped the front end, will have pics soon! I also took off the tag bracket/blinkers.

Thanks guys. I apologize for all the questions/hassles/annoyance ahead of time. I'm going to try to log all my runs so I can learn what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it.
For each run I'm going to write down: Time, tire pressure, launch RPM, temperature, humidity and attach it to my time slip so I can nit pick myself when I get back to learn some.
If I can't make a pass worth a damn I may just have to give the key to LilMike or someone to show me its all rider before I try to burn the bike. :lol:

it was a fun day at the track.. I didnt run that good cause I was having problems with the multi stage grabbing to much in first and not enough at the big edn but I think I got it worked out on the last run

It was nice to meet all of you. I ended up breaking my cam chain, and bent most of my valves. Made it back to Houston at 10:00AM. The motor was out and on the bench by noon. Back to the drawing board :) :) :)

I left early on Friday as my bike would do nothing but wheelie all day. I had tried to be sneaky and removed my cooling system from the bike in order to lose a few pounds and free up a couple HP from losing the waterpump. As it turns out, I guess the weight of the cooling system was providing some much needed weight on the front of my bike. :lol:

You just aren;t slipping the clutch. I was running 11.1x on my 2002 Bandit 1200S 3 times in a row at Orlando with it just strapped and making 104rwhp... :lol:
Practice will have you in the 10.30's soon... :thumb:

Yeah, all things considered I'm pretty happy with my times. My main reason for going was to get seat time and try to learn some. I had gearing (-1 front) to put on the bike but I left the sprocket at the house. :lol:
