I must be crazy, but here we go again.

In tribute of the Grand Opening of the new Tiger Racing website (http://www.1st-to-the-finish-line.com)

We are giving away a $250.00 Gift certificate good towards the purchase of anything Tiger Racing makes.

Here are the rules:

          1.   You have to nominate another member to enter this give away.
          2.   That member must be in the military
                (Guard-Army-Navy-Marines-Air Force-Coast Guard-Reserve) 
          3.   You have to tell why you are nominating this member.
          4.   You must post a Picture of that member in uniform (on duty would be cool)

But wait, there's more...
I'll give both you and your nominated member a $250.00  gift certificate
(redeemable on my website)

Each military nominated member will also receive a Tiger Racing T-Shirt
just because we love you all.

Post your nominations in this thread.

Let's run this for 1 month, that way you get time to contact your military member and get them to send you a picture of them in uniform
(on duty would be really cool).

here goes a good buddie actually he's loves this site. his name is keaton garland. we met off of EBC.com he is in iraq and he have been writing each other for a while. He loves his busa and I like to chat with him to keep him company now and then. Good to have someone to talk to about something of interested when your that far away from society!! I'm nominating him because he loves to mod his busa. He also is a great guy to talk to. I email him now and then just to give him some time to think about something other then what he does over there. Being so far from society in another country has to suck. Yea you have your friends that your deployed with but its still cant be the same.. So Keaton eat your heart out hope we win this and that I can be a part of getting you some sweet parts from Tiger!!!

hey there!, i heard about your nomination and i just had to jump at the chance, here's some pictures of my little brother,he and I are both in the armed forces, he's in marine OCS at Purdue university, and im a CH-47D chinook helicopter mechanic for the national guard, he just completed his six week OCS school and is glad to be back, he's ready to work on the busa like never before. we are trying to get it track ready in the next month! still needs lots of work,

TIGER RACING, You Rock!!!

I want to thank TIGER RACING for all the support that they show to us members of the military.  Several years ago Tiger sent me a great chain guard along with a hat as a Christmas present. 

I would like to nominate Busatroop for this give away.  He is a great soldier and he rides a cool bike.  He already posted his picture up here.  I am in Iraq right now and can't post any of him.  I can, however post MY pictures

Guy, I bought stuff from you back when I raced a Busa. Out of the Army at the end of this month for disability, biggest bummer is can't ride anymore!
Anyway, I'd like to get a shirt from you.... email/msg me your paypal and I'll order one.

Thanks for all the accolades, but this thread isn't about Tiger Racing, it's for our troops.  Keep those photos and nominations coming in, I want to give away a lot of T-shirts to our military and I can't do that without your help.  The more Military that gets nominated, the more t-shirts I can give out and of course, $500.00 to 2 lucky winners.

We don't care where our troops are or what job they do for our country, they do it with pride, honor and look real snappy in uniform.

Actually not to hate but Brian was never over in the desert! He was on recruting duty! I know him and when I was a Marine we rode together even in the same clubs!

I would like to nominate, Sgtbusa, (Tim) for this contest. Tim is deployed to Iraq, again. This is his third deployment in as many years to help out with the cause.  Right before he deployed he traded his 2006 GSXR600 for a 2005 Busa, I know he would love to be able to mod that new bike up. And to be able to install parts from Tiger Racing (Guy) would be awesome.  He would like to start drag racing his Busa when he gets back. We are not sure when he will be back this time again; they told him any where from 6 months to 1 year.  It has to be hard stationed over there and not be able to see your wife and two sons. His oldest son is 3 years old and his youngest is 10 months old.  His first deployment he missed out watching his first son go up thru his first year as he left when his son was only a couple months old. That has to be hard for anybody, when you come back your son is walking and doesn't even know who you are, because you haven’t been there.   I know his wife went thru a lot, because they were only in their house 1 week before his first deployment. After Tim left she had issues with different things around the house, my wife and I tried to help as much as possible. Hoping Tim wouldn’t think too much about what was going on here, knowing we were helping his family.  But you know he was still thinking about his family.

Wow Dave that really means a lot to me. Yes it has been hard but thanks to all that your family has done for us I don’t know how i could have done it without you all helping out. And to say that you guys helped out as much as you could, you all did above and beyond what’s asked of a neighbor. I call you my family as that is what the Franklins are to me...my family. Big thanks to Tiger Racing(Guy) and what he is doing for us military folks, but a lot of credit is passed over for the families back at home who have to take on all there responsibilities and now have to take on all over there spouses too. To all the soldiers out keep on keeping on. It’s not always easy to be away from your family, but I try to remember that while im here im preventing anything bad happing to my family and friends back there. And if that means hard times for me then I will take it off the cheek and keep moving on. Thanks again Dave and Guy for this.  :thumb: :thumb:

back in 2005 i went down town once and out of nowhere this all black busa came by us i bet doing every bit of 170 mph. scared the shit out of me never saw him coming. about a mile before that 3 baby camels crossed the road in front of us and i thought we were going to die.

My wife loves these pics.  She too was honor guard, chrome helmet and twirling rifles and all.  Of course she also loves USAF because she is a SMSgt now (1st shirt) at the 180th here in Toledo.

OUTSTANDING!!!  My dad retired from the Air Force as a MSGT (what is that, E7?)  He has three sons, all of whom joined the Army.  Both my younger brother and I are Iraq War Vets.

cool pics guy!   i have found honor guard to be one of the most rewarding things(emotionally) you can do stateside.   we also have a picture in our building of the uniform you're talking about,  chrome helmets, rifle team, and they also did the bloused boots.  very sharp look  :thumb:

Yea I am trying to go into MTI duty, but haven’t decided. I need to do a special duty so when I get up to E-8 I will not be over looked so fast. Hey Sparky what base you at? Im over in lovely McGuire. Good job on the Honor Guard, it is very rewarding, I have a couple of my troops (Airmen) over in it now. Nice Guy, I didn’t know you where a dependent :lol: WOW nice NCO of the year, im trying to put together a package now, but kind of tuff over here. But I will have some nice bullets when I leave here.

And he really believes that Gods signature block reads USAF (RET)

Dad retired MSGT radio operator in the old Pre-AWACS.  He is now a Dentist in Cal State Prisons.  He has two RET Navy CAPTs that work for him as well as one RET Army dentist that was a MAJ.  He keeps goading them to have a wear-your-uniform-to-work day  :lol:

TAC-P huh....thats cool...I have a few friends that are in that and they say its a lot of fun. I was thinking about doing it but thats ALOT of time away from my family and if I was gone anymore I would not see them for years. Tyndall i hear is a nice base.
