Post by: 06stocker on October 24, 2008, 10:10:25 PM
Ok guys , guess what i have another bad Cam chain...230 miles after a new one installed from the place i bought it..I had to eat the last one because of out of warranty..sorry to say i wont eat this one..I go out to take it for a ride, let it warm up ,give it alittle gas and let off and heres the cam chain noise like its hitting the valve cover..The same noise that i heard before i replaced the last one..This is BULLSHIT that this is happening to a new bike..I didn't take it to the track, just work and one bike show and hop on it one time..WHAT THE FUCK

Put a manual tensioner, adjusted correctly, in it and be done with it.

Never had an issue and would only use a stock tensioner... :thumb:

The big wig from Suzuki is going to look at it this time..They dint understand that happenping again..They said they will pay for everything to be fixed..There a good shop..240 miles on a chain is crazy.. Tensioner didn't go bad last time either..Chain just stretched to far..

I had the chain jump a tooth because the tensioner was bad
