Great work Paul!
Jurgen is a Talented man too - I would like him to do me Exhaust up also...
Great work Guys! :thumb:

@ Paul and Jürgen
Looks very good. :thumb:
Nice work.
Way to go guys !
-
Looking Good!!!
Jurgen is a talented fabricator!!
did he also make the plenum?
-
looks good :thumb:
-
The Plenum is from Mc Xpress - had to cut it open to weld on the the Cooler. That is OK now, he pressed 1,5 Bar in it - no leaks. The Gas Tank fits good - no Spacers.
A Elektrik Pump will do the work for the Intercooler Water. i will see to make a Pic with the Turbo on the Bike .............

Yes he did.
Greetings Jürgen

any updates?
No, first kit done, except exhaust systems, full for street + dump for the strip. I'm still waiting on the 3"-piping to be bent.
At the moment i'm working on two more liq/air-plenums, completely self made, no prefabricated parts used.
Further i will construct another liq/air-plenum for my own busa using a self made l/a-intercooler, based on aluminium fin tubes.
-
hello kojak are you buildings those water to air plenums can i pm you for pricing i also use secondairies bike went 8.07 here in holland so far but thinking water inj or cooler give a good deal on a plenum and we will see

Hope we see us next year in Drachten again and you can hit the 7s.
It was so close this year. CU, Mike
PS:
JOE and Kojak are very talented fabricators !!!
-
Jurgen will it be going on a dyno? I'm Interested in seeing your results
-
Jurgen will it be going on a dyno?
Yep, we'll have to dyno the new kit in order check out the fuel setup. Probably we'll try to set it up to E85 fuel as well.
-
I hope + wish to have the Engine end of January done - set in the Bike and run.
All the hoses will be work too -- Mc Xpress new silver Box + j.oe`s Boostcontroll Box will go in too.
-
Motor in in the Frame / everything Fits - can lower the front end - no Mods on the Gas Tank necessary - fairings and inner fairings fit too, the intercooler pump is on the right side under the inner fairing, J.OE made some brackets for the Water + Intercooler so they stay in place.

Made the Pipe from a 70 mm inner diameter Stainlesssteel tube / could not find a Tube bend shop that can bend a 70mm pipe - so did it ourselfs. The right side fairing will fit all the way....

Very nice job Paul and Jürgen.
Do you still have started the engine?

After almost 1 year of work - The Bike is running now.......................... We set the AF on the street ....... up to 1,4 Bar 20PSI and that is enough for Street use. did not go to a Dyno.
Well, very suprisely the Turbo starts pushing at 2300 RPM !!!!!!!!!!! Very good now for streetdriving .

Very nice! gt3071r or a gt3076r twin scroll turbo? 2300rpms is hell a quick!
Its a gt3071r twin scroll. Ive the same kit :D
It makes app. 480hp on C16 and 25psi.
Right Kojak? Or do you swaped to a gt3076?
-
It is a GT 3071 R Dual Ball Bearing, Divided hsg. got the Turbo watercoold.
It was a big suprise that the Turbo starts pushing that early. Even when I pull thre throttle only 1 mm at 3000 rpms, I can see a moving at the Boost gauge, that never happend on the T-16 Turbo. At aprox. 5000 RPMs I have full Boost.
Well, it is hard to drive the Engine warm without getting Boost on it ........... Also in the city traffic I have to watch my throttle turn. It is a very differant driving as the T-16, GT 28 or KKK Turbo, makes more fun, and so I can cruise with less RPMs better.
got the longer 5th + 6th Gear in also, 17 / 40 sprokets - Stock - 530 ZZZ chain. made the swingarm that the futher position is stock , also that the Brake bracket fits up to the 10mm longer way back.
Right now the Bike is made more for street use...................
And is not 100 % finished........... needs a Paintjob .....
