Post by: smithabusa on March 07, 2009, 12:41:01 PM: you aren't going to gain adding a TRE, it jacks up the bike's ability to add ram air compensated fuel based on gear etc.

If you just want to be de-restricted in 6th gear I make this that wont mess up your gear based fueling etc www.boostbysmith.com/highgain.html

True, but just trying to get an inexpensive mod. Hey John, I put a light rider on my bike today and he went 9.001 at 152mph!
My best so far is a 9.53 at 144mph.

Post by: genarr3 on March 07, 2009, 08:54:34 PM: Brock has tested the TRE on Gen 1's, and his tests show they slow the bike down. There's no reason it wouldn't be the exact same on Gen 2's.
