I have one and am really liking it. Yes it will work on 08-09. It has the option to map by gear which is what im using and it is quite an advantage over a pc3. Just wish they would have built the timing module into this unit.  Only controlls 4 injectors .

so the PCV only controls 4 injectors? I thought it would control all 8.

Only if you piggy back two of them together like the PCIII.  Bazzaz is still the only one that controls all 8 without purchasing other stuff.  However, now you can flash the factory ECU so neither are really needed...

To my knowledge only the 99-07s can be flashed....  I know the 08 computers have been hacked, there is just isnt any software yet for the 08's.

The significant difference is that it can map -100% / +250% fuel, where the PCIIIUSB can only do -100%/+100%. This satisfies most fuel needs for most folks most of the time. They are saying we will have a piggyback controller for the secondaries soon, but we have not seen it yet.

As stated, it can map per gear, per cylinder - so you could create 24 separate maps.

Also - all the features of the old Multi Function Hub are built into the unit, so you do not need a Hub to add a map switch or LCD or the Auto Tune, etc...

The Auto Tune also allows you to build a map on the fly when starting with a base map - very nice feature.

Called dynojet a couple of weeks ago and the secondary controller should be released sometime this summer. As soon as the secondary controller comes out then i will be installing a pc5 and secondary controller. i know someone on here said that the stock injectors with a pc3usb will max out at around 315hp. So with the secondary controller being capable of +250% instead of just +100% you would think that 350hp should be possible with the stock injectors.

Hi I'm new to the site and just got my second Busa a 08' I ride the twisties a lot and some track days I'd like the ability to change to a softer hitting map for the first and second gear corners or getting caught in the rain. I want to retain the use of the handlebar mounted map switch so I can change maps as I need. Which is the best way to go, a reflash of the stock ECM or the PCV grafted in? How many reflashed stock ECM's that you all know of have had success and do they lend to easy tuning by dyno tuning guys?
