Title: Front fender to tire clearance?

I am coming over to Bonneville this year (yipee!). How much clearance do I need between the front fender and tire? Stock fender and 70 series tire? Or can you go a lot tighter like a catalyst low profile fender with a 60 series tire? Thanks.

Just booked my flights to suit speedweek and Bubs

I had some salt buildup with a 60 series tire and lowered front fender in the wet salt in Aussie 06 , didn't feel it but knocked out black salt every run, probably not a good idea in those conditions, but on dry salt there is no buildup and no problem,
Wet again last week and put the fender in std position with 60 series, again no prob,
