Well some of you may have seen the video but I wheelied and busted my pan 2 weeks ago and got oil all over the rear tire and was very lucky not to go down. I read about this problem with a few other guys and thought oh I will never have that problem and then wham. I would highly recommend the modified pan froms clem's kawasaki 125 exchange and it's cut with the drain plug moved to the back.

Been hearing that same thing since 2006 when they came out... :thumb:

Well I was one of the guys thinking it would not happen to me and it did after several hundred runs.

Yeah, I busted 2 of them before I put on a Clem's modified one. I noticed some copper in the last one but put it back together and went to Daytona with it. Shortly after I got back I heard a rattle that I've heard before then took it back apart and #3 bearing was spun, with light scarring on the crank. All the parts are back and it should be on the road this week..

I have read a lot of posts same issue I hope JR has changed his 14 oil pan.
Read some time back a pritchard road rider running from the police went over the tracks, cuaght some air and samshed his oil pan, crashed and died :(
Gotta be a design flaw

team is running custom made pan and dry sump - different problems, oil needs to be heated to circulate properly...
