the catalyst tail is really lite weight fiberglass, great for the strip.... :thumb:  I will add a second layer of  woven glass/resin to beef it up as I've seen a bunch of them damaged when used as they come from catalyst (stress cracks , rock chips).  an air tech tail was on the bike before this  and was waaaay heavier....... like 3 layers .... :sprz:  no stress cracks at all... :thumb:

I'm sorta anal about things like that... :hys:

Nice tank, love that low profile look. :thumb:What's the capacity?I seem to only average around 140 miles or so with my stock tank,if not for that and trying to have someone match my stock paint scheme i would have already picked one up.

:stupid:   going in a new  direction as far as paint  :crzy: .  I'm leaning toward a candy red over a silver metal flake 2 tone in a 2000 Hayabusa  sorta stock looking  paint scheme.
here's a pic of the silver flake....... I'm so slow on the body work  :ohman:.
