Title: 02 sensor removal
Post by: Rossco on May 25, 2009, 12:56:12 AM
I have a Micron exhaust on it's way to me.
Can anyone please tell me what the resistance value is and which wires need the resistor across them to stop codes for the 02 sensor?

I also have a PC5 on ots way but it is going to be a few weeks so I just need a temporary fix.

HOS sensor heater resistence approx. 8 ohms @ 73 deg.
HO2 sensor output voltage ~ 0.3V and less at idle speed
                                         0.6V and more at 3,000rpm/min

Alternatively you could use ecueditor 2, tag the oxy sensor off and and relfash the ecu.Thats the way how factory designed this to work.
