I understand the exhaust cam specs were revised on the 2008 Busa, are there still gains to be had by swapping in an intake cam on the exhaust side?
-
I am still having people say they have swapped out to the intake cam on exhaust side. They say they tell a difference with it in. Haven't tried with mine yet but thinking about the idea.

Stock 08 int .355"/238 Ex .335"/228
.020 more lift on the 08 intake and 10 more deg of duration, I would say there is some gain to be had.... :thumb:

will the 99 to 07 cams fit the 08 09? the only reason i ask is that i have a larger intake aftermarket cam out of a 05.
-
Yes they will you will need to put the cam bearing snap ring off your old cam on the gen 1 cam. Also you will need to order you an offset cam pin from brocks to replace the stock straight one.

Also, you need to turn the bearing around.
We have 08/09 Web intakes in stock with our sprockets on them for exchange. http://www.hayabusazone.com/cams.html

Could you just put your stock '08-'09 bearing on the aftermarket cam?
