Ric, I was just checking out some old threads and saw a pic of your Busa. That thing is nice. Maybe I 'll see it this summer.
I jus got it repainted. Its still purple but the scheme is a lil diff. Hopefully it'll be ready by the time it warms up. Got to get the exhaust re-done cuz its sitting on the plastic. Once done, its time to get her tuned. I'm shootin for 300hp this year. :D
They talkin like another shot of snow this Tues. and Weds. :cry:

Acutally took the 14 out Sunday for a spin. I've never let my bikes sit up til the battery goes dead but i had to jump all the bikes to warm them up! Damn snow!!!

It's a first time for everything. What I Always say. I know my battery is dead. Shouldn't have left it in. Hopefully I didn't ruin the battery. When you leave it in, it can cost ya money and time :D

Can anyone in Va. find out, "if you are pulled over speeding, at what point (speed) will you get locked out?" In md. You will not get locked up for speeding, I'm told.

YEAH!!! Might be doing a charity ride this weekend in Richmond, VA. If u think ur intrested, let me know. I may have my busa on the road this weekend. I actually rode it Easter Weekend and it was a blast but it had no fairings. Gosh, i miss BOOST!!!

Can anyone in Va. find out, "if you are pulled over speeding, at what point (speed) will you get locked out?" In md. You will not get locked up for speeding, I'm told.
I got a friend dats a sheriff in the Hampton Roads area, and they said anything over 20 mph over the limit is jailable!!!

BTW, I'm going to Myrtle this year. Well it's the plan. going down on Wednesday the 26th and coming back that Sunday. Taking too much stuff to ride down, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.:mrgreen:
Oh ya, May 8th is mother's day weekend. gotta pay my dues if I plan on having a good summer. Can't do the N.C. trip.

As of now we are leaving from the D.C. area in the morning, riding down to the Tail of the dragon. We can meet up on Rt 81 somewhere if you can make it. Next week.

Finally rode the "Tail of the Dragon", it was better than I thought. Learned a few things on this trip. First I need a better set up for long distance riding (674 miles). Just to get there. Second, i needed more time to enjoy the roads there. It was awesome. I did trailer it back. Punked out, we were only there 15 hours before heading back.

Now u can finally say u slayed the dragon!!! Did u stop at the store on the NC side of the gap and get some t-shirts.
My next big trip is next month to Cincinnati, OH. Meeting a female bike club in Charleston, WV from Charlotte, NC. Gonna ride with them to a party there. These ladies ride brother!!!
The Va. Beach trip is still on as long as the weather holds up Friday before Labor Day!!!

Man, how did I miss this!! I wish I could have met you up there. My busa is down but I'd have rode the Roadstar. I'm glad you got a chance to enjoy our roads. Don't forget me the next time you're down. :thumb:

I can't for so many reasons, it isn't funny. Saturday, anniversary, Sunday, birthday party for daughter's friend, Monday, promotional exam at work. I couldn't go if I had a Lear jet.

I'm leaving Thursday night after work (approx midnight). I'll be pulling this time and I'm staying til Sunday the 13th. Takes bout 9.5 hrs from Richmond, Va.

Dats ok the season is jus starting so we have plenty of time to ride dis year!!! We had a ball dis year. I hooked up wit 00Busa and some of his fellas & rode to Orlando. I will post some pics later. Only problem was it got chilly when the sun went down but other than dat, it was blast!!! Maybe u can make the Biketoberfest later dis year.

The take route 60 west to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I think Flash is near there. Gonna take the parkway back to route 211 or I66 back toward D.C.
Undecided on making a one day or two day trip. Two days,we can take our time. Anyone interested chime in. Whatcha think?

U missed a great ride to/from Fayetteville, NC. We had about 12 bikes and other than the heat, we had a blast. Luckily we didnt run into any rain, but kinda wished we did!!! LOL

Dates 20th and 21st.
Gonna stay over night near Rt 60 and the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Head north on the Pkwy next morning. I know it may be hard to make a weekday trip. Thought there would be less traffic on the Pkwy.

9mm, the next time I ride down in Northern Va I will give you a heads up. I like to hit Rt619 and then go further south to Rt 218. Would you be able to do a week day ride? In-between rush hour. Just thinking ahead.
