i have an 06 with a pcIII usb. i want to safely run as close to 50 hp as possible. what exactly will i need, im new to nitrous. i want to be able to run a regular map and the nitrous map. ps. im on a budget

for the budget conscious this works out awesome IMO, even if you have a large budget this is a great solution.
No power commander needed, you can sell it
www.boostbysmith.com/ecu.html
www.boostbysmith.com/ecunos.html
that will give ability to tune a motor and nos fuel/ignition map, then ecu will turn nitrous on when window rpm is met, throttle is wide open, and only when nitrous starts spraying does the maps switch.

i want to keep the pc III and add the multi hub with the handle bar switch. what do i need to make it all work??
-
Listen to Greg , you wont need any of the multihub handlebar switch stuff...All you need is what Greg sells & you can tune your factory ecu to add fuel via seperate map in ecu as soon as nitrous activation switch is activated & rpm parameters are met.....I kept my pwrcmnder usb so I can tune motor via tuning link/dj 250 .Nitrous @ 80-100%
throttle via factory ecu...m.o. :D

I believe your best bet is using ECU Editor. Clean install and not a bunch of extra cables and connectors. You will spend more money on all of the Powercommander extras to run 50hp+ of nitrous.
I have all of Greg/Petrik stuff to make the nitrous experience simple and fun. I ran a 50hp shot, no timing retard(on pump you may try -2 which can be done with through the ECU), map switch when nitrous is activated at pre-determined 6-10k window for nitrous flow, 1st gear lockout to prevent nitrous flow in 1st gear.
-
I would also ditch the pwr comander and run greg's stuff it works very well.
-
Your best and cheapest way is to get Greg's Nitrous & Air Shifter plug and play harness's along with his ECU Flashing Interface.
It will be the best investment you will ever do.
-
i second that its the best set up out there. mine is set up with 1st gear lock out clean and simple thanks again greg

Sorry to revive an old post, but I have to reiterate this myself after using it and tuning with it on my dyno, Greg/Petrik's ecu editor setup is hands down the way to go for what you are trying to accomplish...
