Title: Lowering forks
Post by: Egbert yuk fooie on May 21, 2010, 11:10:21 PM
A short while ago I put Race Tech springs in. No more wash in corners. Very happy. Now want more. Emulators in next week. And going to 15w.  I dropped forks 1/4". I also have 1" risers... I'm old. How much can I drop forks for max handling ? My confidence level went through the roof in the twisties.

Dropping the forks on this pig of i bike, I would advise against it. I'm a track guy myself so my recommendation to you would be to raise the front back up and raise the rear about an 1" This will do the same but give you more ground clearance. Its pretty easy to drag hard parts on a busa anyway. Good luck to you sir.
