Title: gen 1 high idle only in 5th and 6th gear ??

My gen 1 started idling high in 5th and 6th gear lately, I noticed it when I would pull in the clutch to slow down at the track. So then I would drive it up the return road and put it in 5 or 6 and it only idles down when I put it in 4 or under. Idles about 2600 rpm. It runs good and all. It has a pc111r. I also switched out the gear position sensor and that did not change anything. The ecu is a crystal modded one for rev limit.
Any ideas.
