Post by: HOS on December 02, 2011, 12:35:54 PM
This guy was taken to hospital as a precuationary, but was unhurt and back at work the next day.
Amazing !

From a stunt show in Santa Caterina, that went wrong. One hell of an impact !

Looks like the car away from the crowd was too tight.

Have any of you guys ever been at a stunt show and watched one go wrong ?

We did at Moto1 at Donnington Race Track in about 2005 ish.
Stunt jump with a guy on a crosser who had not got enough speed on the ramp.
Landed on the up slope instead over over the hump and the bike just sat down hard. Bust both his ankles and some.
We were stood right by the ramp and watched it all from feet away.

It was 2004 to be precise and the event was Moto1 at Donnington Race Track, England.

Here is the vid, we are on the right hand side of the ramp in that crowd of people.
We were stood amongst a load of the Purple Helmet riders.
