Title: Kawasaki ZX6R, woodacraft rearset swap, now rear brake drags. adjust actuator?
Post by: speed_pigeon on July 07, 2013, 02:43:03 PM
so basically I have a 2000 ZX6R. the right foot peg bracket was broken, welded and broke again. I bought a set of woodcraft rearsets and to install and adjust the right foot peg, I had to compress the rear brake slave cylinder actuator. I cannot, for the life of me, find an adjustment to allow me to compensate for the compression. the rear bake is about 80% compressed and there is little to no travel left in the brake lever. it is still at a low angle, but before the adjustment it was pointing at the ground. can someone give some insight here? I have searched high and low and cannot find anything but a suggestion that I cut the actuator pin... there has to be a better way. thanks.
