Hi fellow speed freaks, I'm adding a full exhaust system to an otherwise stock Gen II busa. I don't want to get too crazy with complications or spend a lot of time tuning etc. Should I just add a PC 5, do the correct mapping and call it a day? I don't know a lot about ecu editor or tuning and I'm just looking for an easy way to get it done. Also, would a single sided exhaust throw off the balance of the bike at all?
Thanks!

if you go with a brocks exhaust he will send you a map for a Power Commander. single side exhaust wont change balance

I like to balance it by strapping a helmet on the left side . :hys:

+1 this may be the best way to go, because even though popular, ECU flashing is not known by all tuners, but a Powercommander is very well known

$12,000 new Busa
$1,200 new header
Doesn't want to spend $250 to complete the package?

Yes, the PC5 would be the easiest way to go.
I've never felt anything different on a single sided exhaust. Non issue IMO.

Any decent tuner, if he can tune a PC should be able to tune with Editor. So Spend 400 for a PC 5 , then toss a generic tune at it, or use editor and spend the 400-- or less--- to get it tuned right.Where are you?
Heck, buy a Woolrich set-up and data log and auto-tune, no dyno needed.
