Title: 2 stage and multistage clutches?
Post by: Abusive on January 27, 2014, 06:24:24 PM
I have a stock bore high compression gen 2 busa with head and cams and would like to upgrade to a lockup clutch of some type. I cant afford the latest style clutches ie, hayes, rock solid or the mtc gen2 but would like a clut h that would help lower 60' and 330' times. Whats a good clutch thats not too expensive?

I have a MTC multi-stage with billet inner and outer baskets.  Tuning kit also and stock extended cover.  20 passes maybe on my turbo bike.  $700TYD plus paypal fees.

What kind of 60', 330 times while using the clutch? Why are you selling it?

Depends on your tune and the track, suspension, ect.  I've seen as low as 1.33 on my bike and average 1.38-1.42 depending on prep.  I'm parting out my entire bike to build my new home I plan on retireing in. So I will have lots of parts listed soon.

I think you'd wanna go with a multi-stage. Single and two stage will lockup too soon. They're more suited to bar bikes. Not saying you can't use one, just mulit-stage would be better.
