Title: Busa eninge in the GSXR frame?
Post by: gmansyz on May 03, 2014, 07:50:07 PM
Is anyone still doing the Busa into a GSXR? Which year frames are the hot ticket? 2003/4 1000? Or maybe the 2004/5 GSXR 600/750?
What kind of weight?

Tnx
G

More trouble than its worth..... Unless you know these bikes inside n out and are a master @ fabrication not really a good idea. There's been guys here and there with "project" bikes that have done motor swaps and frame mods etc. etc. But you don't see everybody doing them..... there's a reason 4 that :id:

Cool, it does seem to be so now. I was going to pay someone to do the mods for me. Got a frame guy to be building me a frame from steel to accept the Busa engine and place it where I want instead. Will just go with an '03/4 1K. I have an '05 head with two intake cams, '08 1K TB's and airbox and sourcing a newer computer.
Thanks again Y'all!
