I just did a Google search(checked 3 different sites)and didn't come up with anything definite other than different spacers, etc.

if shouldn't be that difficult really, first you. Red to measure the distance on the inside of the swing arm, and make sure the sprocket is in the same place...

Looking for help on what is required to install GSXR 1K rim on my 2011 Busa.

what year of 1000 rims?
I got a set of 03-04 gsxr 1000 rims on my 09 busa. On the front I had new spacers made. it was slightly different. The brake calipers are farther apart so I had to space the brake rotors out a little with shims to get the rotors to not hit the inside of the calipers. the 03-04 gsxr 1000 brake rotors were the same diameter. other years the brake rotors may be a larger diameter requiring you to space the calipers out from the center of the wheel. hayabusa brake rotors will not bolt on gsxr 1000 wheels.
On the rear the wheel and spacers are like 1/8" wider. I had the spacers machined down to fit in a busa swingarm. the busa brake rotor is larger and will not bolt up to the gsxr 1000 wheel. I believe a certain year/model of brake rotor will bolt up to gsxr 1000 rear wheel and is the right diameter. sv1000 I think. I have a extended swingarm so I put a 05-06 gsxr 1000 rear brake caliper on with a dme rear caliper hanger.

I'm looking to use 2008 wheels or newer.
I think they are different from the ones you are using.

subscribing.......looking to do the same thing and cant get a good answer
-
So nobody has personally done this swap??
-
Know it's been done, nobody wants to help anybody out any more. It isn't like the old days when ppl would always be there to help members out. Not sure why.
-
Ever get the wheel issue sorted out Dave?
-
Should be a direct fit with a late model GSXR 1K & a Gen 2 Hayabusa ~ hung one of my GSXR 1K wheels on my Gen 1 with the correct spacers . . .

Front wheel will need spacers and the rotors need to be spaced also.
Rear wheel is a direct swap. Only down side is that the rotor does not make full surface contact with the pads/caliper.
