Title: Header pipe studs
Post by: MJ Williams on December 22, 2014, 08:34:16 PM: Can you swap out the stock allen bolts on the header pipes for studs and nuts?
Thinking it will save wear and tear on the threads in the head.

Post by: Rocketgeezer on December 27, 2014, 03:08:45 PM: If your header allows stud and nuts would be a bunch better set up, but as far as ease of installation, studs and nuts or bolts, or hex or allen bolts, they are both a pain in the ass, ether way its best to disconnect the radiator for clearence

Post by: BATTMAN on January 02, 2015, 02:57:27 PM: shave the stock header bolt down for the inner bolt holes. Its easier to put the header on with the motor on the bench.
