Happy Birthday William. Another year. It seems like only yesterday you were beginning plans for the R-A-C-E-B-I-K-E. In less than a year you went from concept to Mission Accomplished. I am so glad to have known you. You certainly enriched my life. Many others feel the same. As I look at the emoticons above, I think you used them all. The memory of you as a person shines as bright as your racer's speed. God Bless. LSL (I hope others will add their thoughts here, or on Walt's site) http://www.inmemoryofbillwarnermr311.com/

I miss Bill a lot. He was the epitome of all that is good in a person and a racer. His advice was always welcome and spot on. Bill called me a time or two with questions and soliciting advice, usually about running on the salt. I always felt honored that he valued my opinions. My life, since Bill passed, is missing one of the very good people I know. RIP my Friend!!
