Thanks Mike...yes it's been awhile... :tu: had to get back to what I love...

Out-friggin'-standing bike................looks almost brand new. You just got a 25K+ motorcycle, and I'll bet you saved a ton.
When I bought TMH's old turbo bike, I paid 10,500 for it. He had a ton more than that into it. Ran great until I threw it down onto the concrete.
I'm too old for turbos these days.

Yes I save a few dollars, I was in the process of getting a brand new 2015, when I saw this one...did some calculations and figure it was a no Brainer so when and check it out and the girlfriend told me to get it..motor is fully built, the dash is also a data logger, it also has the microtech logger..Just been an awesome bike so far...you're never too old for a turbo Busa...
-
would defenitely love to own a turbo, but the wife is trying for me to get rid of the bikes i own
very sad, indeed
-
Getting ready to massage the old turd...Carrillo rods, CP pistons, carpenter valve springs, APE head studs and nuts..R&D under cut trans and billet shift shafts, Cryo treated shift forks, Robinson H/V oil pump gear...

That didn't take long. With your schedule you must have been on it every available waking minute. :D
-
I was in the garage from 10:30 to 8:30 the old lady was getting a little upset... :D
-
Everything is working well..got tables setup and starting to tune...

Current map is a little rich...but works well up to 16Lbs of boost..

Hopefully I'll have it button up and degree the cam by this weekend...

That is funny cause I love degreeing cams
radio on. Beverage of choice and just go at it
to me it is the "best part" of motor building. it is one of the last things to do before the valve cover goes on. and plus so FEW people understand and can do cam timing, kinda makes me feel like a superhero :punk:

Lol...You make a good point, I guess it's how you approach it.. :thumb:

The down side with having a turbo charged bike is the tires just don't last, maybe it's just the ones I use shinko 003 ultra soft, stick like glue but wears out quickly..
-
bike looks good and almost like mine :bananahump:
-
lol, they do almost look alike.. :tu:
-
Took her out today to break those new tires in...had a blast..
-
I'm sure you did bro
-
:thumb:
-
Out having a little fun..
-
Had the old turd out this weekend, and had a blast...she's running strong..15 lbs of boost :D
-
Out for a early ride...beautiful day out...she running like a champ.. :D
-
Time to start getting her ready for some winter mods........... :D
-
Looking outside at all this snow makes me sick, bike just sitting there....
-
Middle of April and it's still snowing...
-
Nice day out, early morning ride... :thumb:
-
I think its time for a new drive chain...
-
Took her out a few times, and added a few degrees back into the the ignition table, noticeable power increase in the low end and midrange.
-
Sweet. Sometimes we need that extra .whatever but really not so much on the street. Did you wear out that shinko?
-
Yes, just installed a new set three weeks ago, they go quick, but they stick like glue...

Looks like you laid it down lol

-
Took the old girl out this morning for a little fun, had a blast, she sounds so good at 12K RPM....
-
-
I'm almost tempted to drop the motor and go through it, built it in 2016, and been running it hard on the street up to the rev limiter at 13K RPM a few times, she's still running strong no issues, might delay it until next winter...guess i'm a little bored... :?
-
If it ain't fixed, don't broke it
-
LOL, true.... :D
-
Had a mishap saturday, rode through some standing water on the way home didn't realized how high it was, and hydralock the engine... :(
-
looks identical to mine
-
Drop the motor, going through it now, so far everything looks good, it's been four years since I built it...
-
Replaced the gas tank with a Gen2, and paint it to match the bike...
-
Where did you get the garage ceiling mount rack for your bike?
-
I’m seriously considering letting her go this summer, have a little one that’s taking up all my free time I really just can’t enjoy her like I use to, $16,000
