Post by: turbojonn on August 16, 2015, 11:44:25 PM
Rules show nothing on this topic? I've heard they CAN be required. This is for BMST.

Yep, BMST is cancelled. Not a good year for Bonneville.

Wow, they were all posting good news just 12 hours ago? Sounds like any chance of an easy refund of any kind is out. I can't spend another 500 on another entry  :(.  Rant over.

Not sure where you are John, but you could come up to Loring on Labor Day weekend.

Wa state. Wish I had a jet and lots of money  :D. I'm afraid I'm out of lsr. Spent too much, tapped out, no longer on my bucket list. Is it too much to ask for someone to make an enclosed 5 mile course :D.

Go to Mojave or better yet, El Mirage. Or convert it into a drag bike and have some fun locally.

VW has a nice one in Germany with a long enuf straight stretch (5.5 miles) to get the Bugatti Veyron up to top speed, somewhere around 267 or so, if memory serves.

We all saw that video on U-tube with the BBC.

1/2 Mile events are getting pretty big lately and a few much closer to you if that's something you are interested in?

Next one is THIS weekend if you are free to ride down and check it out...McMinnville OR
