Need help, bought some fairings on the street as OEM. They look quality and feel ok but on the part # states pa6 abs. Are gen 2 fairings abs?

ABS started in 2013...............I dunno if that changed the side farings or not..............but someone here should know.

pa6/ABS is the type of Polymer used to make the part and has nothing to do with the faring fitment. It is supposed to be a very good quality plastic.

I see. Thanks guys, I was uneasy with them because they feel harder and more plastic like than gen 1 fairings. They creak and IMO are not as good quality than the 1st gen, I was expecting gen 1 like flexibility and toughness. Thanks for the input

Hard to get N.O.S.. Gen 1 farings, unless you get 'em from a Suz dealer.

I will be frank, I do not know unless I remove one of mine and the bike is already loaded on the trailer for Rodney tomorrow. Call the Dealer nearest you and give that part number to him in the Parts dept. and they will verify that it is N.O.S.
