Fred suffered a stroke last Friday. :( His condition has improved the last two days but he does have problems common to stroke victims. Brenda Sue lives very close to the hospital and sees him daily. It is too soon to determine how his recovery will go. Please keep him in your prayers. Anyone who knows Fred personally is welcome to email or call me for more info. larryforstall@aol.com 610-647-8428 Thank You LSL

I am happy to say that Fred's recovery is advancing. He initially had some problems eating but that has passed, helped, I'm sure, by home cooking. He has been home for some time now and walks his property regularly. His speech is improving but will take continued support from a therapist (Not uncommon for stroke victims). I know he and wife Bonnye appreciate the love and prayers from his LSR community. God Bless LSL

Fred- when you get a chance to read this, know that I'll be thinking about you. I'll send a prayer your way to help speed your recovery. Look at all those friends you've made in racing. Personally, I don't understand it, but whatever.

I talked to Fred yesterday. He has a way to go yet for conversations but he is slowly getting better. He is driving to a nearby store and I have seen him lurking on this site. It has been just over six weeks and I think he is doing pretty well. If you care to wish him well, just add it to this thread. Thanks LSL

Sending you prayers Fred and hope you're doing better. If you need anything let us know.

I am happy to report that Fred will be attending the Wilmington meet this weekend. He wants to see the debut of the teams' new aero N/A bike with Brenda Sue riding. Steve and friend just left my house heading West. After working all day they will stop tonight and arrive for inspection tomorrow. Steve will be riding our 17 y.o. Production bike. It got me in the Bonneville 2-Club and was the fastest at Maxton at 208.
Please stop by and say Hello to Fred, I know he has missed his racing friends. Be aware that he understands everything you say but is still learning to communicate. Weather looks good, lets hope the wind is mild. Good Luck to All. LSL
