Good day.
As a Few may remember I put a turbo on my bike. Made 230, then added a spacer plate, studs, cam gear, made 291. Been making passes on stock wheel base and on 275 wheel did a 9.1@160. Stock tire, manual shifting, stock clutch. Strapped. Pc5.
Fast forward, broke intake guide and took engine out, and back in. Decided to add a proper stand alone. And, since I run a MoTeC in my Supra I bought one for the bike. (Although a different model) M130, with a C125 and keypad. Been testing anti wheelie programmed by Cody phillips racing too. Boost per gear , traction control , etc.. so much to list while typing on my phone. Lol
Question.. what's everyone running on stock wheel base?
and what power?
I just dynoed low boost 352 and plan to add more to use for the shift sector 1/2 mile next year. Anyone here go to shift sector?
Yes, stock engine with this power but I'm building it over the winter. It's already out. I wanted to push it a lil to see what we could get out of it without breaking it.
Low comp engine , cams... id 725, Weldon reg.. fuel rail..
Thanks in advance.
Guess my other account got deleted.! Dammit

Every time I check shift sector 1/2 mile events were car only.

They did bikes this past year. 👌

Not many people seem to answer questions here.
How much power is needed to crack 200 in 1/2. .?

There is a lot of variables just to throw out a firm number. Aero, weather, rider, tires, suspension .. all come into play.
I've never ran 1/2 mile with the correct gearing just for the 1/2. I have always ran my taller 1.0 mile gearing, so I am sure my 1/2 mile speeds are slower than they could be.
With that said, if the conditions are good and run is good; I would say 300 should get you there. However, I've seen 450+ HP bikes show up at a 1.0 event with a rookie driver and not make it over 200 mph.
Sometimes less is more.

I've gone 201.5 in the half mile with less than 300 HP.
I was actually geared too low and would've liked to have dropped one tooth in the rear, but it was so damn hot that day that I couldn't muster up the energy to do it. My goal was 200, and I accomplished it.

what gearing ru running?
It was either 17/37 or 17/38 with a 190/55 Power One on a 2001 GSXR 1000
It was a couple of years ago...I'm old and don't remember which of the two gearing combinations I used.
I was nowhere close to 300 HP...but 250+
