Title: Electrosport ESG748 and OEM Cycles
Post by: proutyc on April 26, 2017, 03:20:19 PM
Hey Guys just a heads up on something I've purchased for my Hayabusa Engine but they dont work so want to share. Part number ESG748 stator from Electrosport.

They are 2mm smaller than the Gen1 factory Stator. These were purchased and recieved in late November by OEMCycles.com who are also refusing to fix the problem when its nothing created by myself. Very disappointed to deal with 2 large companies that have no intentions in fixing a problem

We use the Hayabusa in my race car so we fitted it when swapped the motor half way through our season (last month)

I was working on my friends bike last week, he's using a gen2 bottom end with gen1 block and head in his 05 busa, but he couldn't get it started, so i told him we have to change out the rotor because the gen2 is a 24-2 and the gen1 is a 24-1, so we put the gen1 rotor in and try to install the stator it would not fit it was too big, so we had to use the gen1 stator as well.

It is a good topic to study and I understand that many people still do not know this. We should make it known.
