Wonder if the big end is bored AFTER assembly. If they show up with finger tightened rod bolts I'd assume not.
-
They come from China
I bought a set but not tried them yet.
I remember the bolts being tight, but there is some kind of hard wax on the machined surfaces, needs to be removed first.
I took them to machine shop to take measures and the big end was bit egg shaped, fixed quite easily
Bought them for the bolts, cheapest rods using ARP 3/8"

The ones customers have sent in to have installed on their cranks had the big end out of round.

OK but if the big end s are fixed will they stay fixed, (round).........had a very bad experiance with a chinese crank, in the end that cheap crank cost me 5 grand, it looked great but I think I would have done better with a stock cast crank

i bought some for a cosworth Yb engine and they measured up perfectly in roundness and weight. its running 7500rpm and about 480bhp.

Did the crank have smooth, round shaped counterweights ?
I had one of those, +5mm, and it was a disaster, cost me 2 engines.
Not learning anything from it, i got one damaged +9mm very cheap (free) , and about to have it repaired, maybe not worth it (?)
