Just wondering if there's any interest in a custom billet oversized oil pump?
I have had two machined to suit an aftermarket wider uk after market rotor set.
Will be testing it in a couple of months but thought while I was have the outer cnc'd I thought I see if there was any interest in more.
These do take a bit to machine. They use the shaft and back off the stock pump. Pump is about 20% wider than stock.
The one pictured is my prototype so has been in and out of my test motor so has a few marks on outer case

So, how it worked ?
I have also made couple oversize pumps, just adding extensions, and found it needs more oil in the motor (of course), and the filter can easily blow its gasket out if the oil is too cold and giving little revs

Yeah I gather that's similar issue to using the over speed gear.
I'm not a fan of the gear and this is why we went this way. If the pump was designed to spin at the speed we do with the gear I would have thought Suzuki would make it smaller. That said we've used the gear and billet relief without issue.
It's a non event on my particular project as I run a Dailey engineering scavenge pump (dry sumped)

Here's the drawing before we machined it

Machining another one up to test on another engine.

All ready to go into motor for testing.
