Brenda Sue runs 219MPH on her 1st full pass back riding the Vance/Forstall - Knecum Perf built 1650cc OG 239MPH record holder. Brenda becomes the fastest Amputee on a motorcycle. She did do this without her prosthetic. Congratulations to a very courageous women. I'm very proud of you. She will try for 220 then call it quits for this race as they are under geared and went through in 5th and have no 520 rear sprockets.

Congratulations Brenda Sue and team Vance/Forstall... takes a lot of guts to climb back on a horse.... and ride it fast!
Hope she was wearing her Tutu :tu:
-
Oh yes the tutu went along for the ride. She only uses the front brake and very carefully so as not to tuck the front end. Maybe a thumb brake for faster speeds next year. WTG Brenda Sue, you are an inspiration to all of us. :thumb: :thumb: LSL

and just watched her trap at 220.5

-
congrats and lets see some pictures

Congrats Brenda Sue, an amazing run !
Great to see you smashing through the 200 mph barrier. You star ! 8) :D
-
Yes Brenda Sue is an amputee,
she's just not handicapped......
-
Not wishing to take anything away from Brenda Sue's amazing performance so quickly after her recovery from her crash we have one current amputee Andy Slade over a mile in the UK at 222.072mph with one arm removed from the shoulder and a while ago Shane Wogan in August 2010 with one arm removed between the elbow and wrist with a prosthetic attachment 237.200 mph.
Both of these riders were on turbo busas so Brenda Sue is the fastest normally aspirated amputee.

I actually should've posted ( Female ) Thats what I meant to say. Congrats to your guys over the pond. That's some achievement :tu:
