Hi Guys I have to wire up a 24v starter system, I have been given this diagram to work to. First is it correct and second any tips on how to connect to the clutch and ignition on my 04 Busa.
Failing that is there a simpler way as Im not at all good with electrics.
Thanks in advance.

If you do not mind charging the second battery one a month
Just cut the lead from the starter relay to the starter and put the second battery inline
WAY less wiring
Mine went 4 months without charging, I finally charged it out of guilt

Thanks NosGSX1300 Im beginning to think that this is the way to go, I have a couple of trickle chargers at home and it would be no bother to plug it in once in a while.
So it will be ike the pic attached.
Thanks for the reply.

Yup that will work
I never trusted the switching relays
I found charging the second battery myself was the easiest way

That's settled then this is the way Im going I have the battery fitted so will just have to measure up for the cables and get them made up.
You might not trust switched relays but I trust my wiring ability even less :D

I have my 24 volt system hooked up like the 2nd diagram. I found it on Schnitz Racing website. Have had no issues, as far as charging. I hard wired battery tender adapters, so I just plug them in when I want to charge the battery.

4 months without so throw the second battery on a charger once a week, you will be fine
system was so trouble free that I would "forget" to charge it
