I bought the smallest A/W intercooler in local shop but it still too huge to run with stock fuel tank :\
What are my options if I go ebay-route? I mean are there any proven sellers / or info on models / dimension that actually fit and are more or less efficient?
I'm thinking about getting a complete intercooler with end-tanks welded and then cut them off. Shouldn't be hard.
something like that: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Water-to-Air-Liquid-Drag-Racing-Intercooler-Core-4-9-5-3-5-Inlet-Outlet-2-5/390824170603?hash=item5afeef946b:g:XlgAAOxycD9TU6le&vxp=mtr

look to do something like this... small water to air intercoolers are on ebay as well

I originally bought the first on listed above... Way too big
I was going to mount it where the headlight was and run naked
Bought one of the plenum ones
and it works AWSOME
Not it is not a RCC ultra plenum, and it is a tight fit, but it works

dimensions should be listed on frozenboost.com

something along these lines.
I built myself a plenum this summer, I tried to mimic stock air box as much as possible (including velocity stacks which were also DIY). I'm still learning how to weld (I was on like 2nd or 3rd cylinder of argon).
I'm thinking about about chopping a front part and installing a water-air cooler or fabricating another one. See attached pics.
$1200-1300 for ebay intercooled plenums is too high. Sometimes I think about fabricating similar plenums and selling them for much lower price.
I spent less than $100 for aluminum (3mm sheet and 51mm piping) and like $10 for 5356 rods. I used like 1/3rd of sheet metal. It took about 2-3 days to fabricate the plenum. Intercooler core and end-tanks would be like $150 max.
So it's like $200 for aluminum and 16hours to fabricate a plenum. Selling it for $1200 means you get $1000 for 16hrs or $62 per hour.

Maj, what intercooler did you use? I see it has generic chinese end tank with stock water ports welded and new bungs added.

That one is the frozen boost 3x3x9 core , cut one air end off and angle cut the other for air inlet
velocity stacks are machined from 60mm thick wall tube which gives the ID to match the throttle bodys
sheetmetal is laser cut and rolled to shape after welding in the v stacks

Don't have $5k+++ to throw at a tig setup (cause I spent it on a GT4088 setup :deathmetal:)
much less thousands of hours of free time to practice my welding.

I spent under $1000 for my set up. I got JASIC WSE200P. You don't need thousands of hours of practice, 10-20hrs is enough for OK penetration & appearance

. Thanks! What HP are you / were you running with this intercooler? How efficient is it?
