Title: New H2 SX (Not GT)
Post by: HOS on November 10, 2017, 01:38:55 PM
I guess some people haven't heard about the new H2?
Seeing as its not listed on the current Kawasaki US website as of today.
Factory video of the new model.
Prices, specs and performance.... no idea !

It's a great idea, but for me Kawasaki just doesn't make a great product. They suck to work on, and use low grade components and the mono-block design, just blows!

Otherwise they look ok.
I'd rather wait for Suzuki to make their new Busa. I love the one I have and Turbo and intercooled thanks to Stedman, well is pure insanity at its finest!
With a little effort you can build your Busa to be all of that Kawi and more! It's not that hard.

Blown Busa for me any day.
As you know I built one with 240 rwhp at a fraction of the cost of a new H2R.
The all inclusive cost with the standard Busa purchase was just over £15,000 compared to £50,000+ for an H2R.
I don't kniw why many more people don't fit a blower.
Kits have been available for a while.

Suzuki is saying 2019 for the new Hayabusa 20 year anniversary, plus the old bike has to be scraped at the end of 2018 due to emissions.

The manufacturers tend to leak these new bikes through the media before the official launch. I keep my eye out online but still nothing about the Gen3 apart from the images we've already seen.
I hope Suzuki get their finger out and get on with it.
