Building 1441 and one of my piston squish mesurement comes out @ .039.  (Used 2 pieces of solder and averaged them ). Would this be to tight???

I use 0.8mm (032) on my 1441 with stock rods.

But the better question would be what is your PTV clearance?

Thanx for the heads up,  next measurement,  built it last time tight but had issues (wasn’t nice on street). Only race once or twice a year so trying to make it nicer for street..  found out what all race motor ment!

I have my rev limiter at 12000rpm.

One time i used 0.7mm with stock rods, i had Wiseco pistons, part number printed on top of piston,
when taking the engine apart later, i could read the number from the head, backwards
