Title: Slightly Different Build
Post by: FastBikes4Life on May 23, 2018, 01:26:57 AM
I have a stock bore Busa with a 5mm stroke. The motor makes just a touch over 200 horses at the back wheel and would probably generate some really good torque - which brings me to the point of the post. The motor used to be a 1543cc but it was too much for the street. I decided to leave the big crank in and go smaller up top. The head on the bike is a Carpenter big motor head and I think it's too much head for the stock bore. Since the head breathes so well, I don't get that seat-of-the-pants pull I'm looking for from the stroker. Do you guys think a stock head with 385/360 cams could move enough air for the stroker? Thanks.
