Title: 2 mil crank
Post by: 6 inch over on May 29, 2018, 10:52:53 AM
What kinda horsepower and torque numbers I’ll see
going from gen1 crank to a 2 mil

It’s it worth the money for the change?
Crank and rods can be pretty expensive, plus the
  mechanic

If you are simply dropping a Gen 2 crank in a Gen 1 motor and getting the bike tuned you won't need rods. You can run the stock rods in the bike with that set-up. If I were doing it I would invest in a decent head port (nothing crazy big) and some after-market cams. I personally think a good choice for cams would be the Mega Cycle 385/360 combo for that set-up. There are guys (and gals) on here who can really point you in the right direction with camshaft combinations. I'm just telling you what I would do. Hope you get out of the bike what you're looking for.
