Title: Clutch lever going limp
Post by: 08BusaD500 on June 04, 2018, 03:29:43 PM
I have a 03 with a brocks cushion kit and a slave support, my clutch fibers and steels are fine but my lever is going limp. Nothing appears to be leaking . If I have my clutch lever adjustment wheel in the 1 position the clutch barely disengages before the bar, if I have it in 2-6 position it will not disengage at all. I have bled the lower bleeder twice and it helped for a couple squeeses of the lever. I haven't opened up clutch hydraulic system so I don't know how/if air is the cause. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Probably it's time to rebuild (or at least clean) master/slave cylinders and replace brake fluid there. Pay attention at ports in master cylinder that connect brake fluid reservoir and piston chambers, there must be no gunk.

Thanks for the reply Thomas, I cleaned it thoroughly and it seems to be functioning properly, going to the track Sunday so I'll find out for sure. Thanks again

have you measured your clutch stack height?
