"Prolific British record holder Zef Eisenburg is working on a design to set a 300mph 483kph standing mile record. The powerplant will be a Rolls Royce C40 shaft turbine engine offering up to 1050 hp. Having suffered possibility the worlds fastest motorcycle crash previously at Elvington, two chutes will be in place to ensure ample stopping power on the 1.9 mile 3.06 kilometre runway",,

Yikes, he is going to ride "naked" 300 mph? At that speed he will have to have some sort of hold-downs or other support to keep him from flying off the bike. One time I was riding at Bonneville way over 200 behind my own custom fairing. My knee caught the wind and almost twisted me off. I had to slow down to get my knee back in.

215 my had my feet come off the pegs at Loring   tried 2-3 times to get them up
wind resistance and total lack of ABS strength prevented it,  chop throttle and slow abort run,
