Title: Stack Height?
Post by: Abusive on June 24, 2021, 11:43:15 PM
I’m in the process of setting up an MTC Gen 2 Clutch, the instructions say start with a stack height of approximately 1.7105 or somewhere close. How do you achieve this? Is it ok to run two steels together within the stack?

I'm also trying to figure out the MTC Gen 2 thing on my Busa, keep us posted please.

Well what I know so far is that the longer springs raises the rpms that you leave at. I colored all of the springs so that I can visually see which springs I have installed without measuring them. I started with two # 10 shims under the static springs and three of the second and third longest springs in the top of the hat the dynamic  springs. (springs over the arms).
I’m running a stock wheelbase so I’m still  asking adjustments.

Use the stock clutch without the thick steels or fibers.  No 2 steels together.
